"We'd just checked into Blue Dolphin for a four-night break. First evening, beautiful sunset, I took the kids down to the cliff-edge viewing point for photos — you can see right across Filey Bay, it's stunning. Set my car keys down on the wooden bench to take a photo with both hands. Got distracted by a seagull dive-bombing someone's chips, walked back to the caravan, then realised I'd left the keys on the bench. Ran back — gone. Probably the same seagull. Ian came out from Bridlington, cut me a new key right there in the car park, and I was back in time to put the kids to bed. Didn't even miss the evening entertainment."
