How much does a Kia key replacement cost?+
Kia keys start from £99 for a basic key. Remote flip keys (Picanto, Rio, Ceed) are £120-£160. Smart proximity keys for Sportage, Niro, Sorento, and EV6 cost £170-£240. All include mobile callout — we come to you anywhere in the Bridlington area.
Can you programme Kia smart proximity keys?+
Yes — we programme replacement smart keys for Sportage, Niro, Sorento, EV6, and any Kia with keyless entry and push-button start. The key is coded to the SMARTRA immobiliser; all proximity features are tested before we finish.
How long does a Kia key take?+
Most Kia keys are done in 30-60 minutes. The Kia immobiliser system is shared with Hyundai so we're very familiar with it. We carry common blanks for Sportage, Ceed, Picanto, and Rio.
Are Kia and Hyundai keys the same?+
Yes — they share the same key system architecture, transponder chips, and programming procedures. We use the same diagnostic tools for both brands. If we can programme one, we can programme the other.
