"We were at South Cliff for the weekend in our touring caravan. Gorgeous site, right by the beach. Sunday morning, last day, we packed everything up, hooked the caravan to the car, did the final walk-round. I put the car keys on the caravan step while I checked the tyre pressures. You can guess what happened. Drove off the pitch, got to the exit barrier, realised — no keys. Drove back. Keys were still on the step. They'd travelled about 400 metres without falling off. That's not the rescue — the rescue is that when I picked them up, they'd been run over. By my own caravan. Flattened. Ian came out, saw the mangled key, laughed, and cut me a new one. Said it was a first — 'usually people lose them, not destroy them.'"
