"We'd booked a beach house at The Bay Filey for a long weekend — proper treat, anniversary. Gorgeous accommodation, deck overlooking the bay. First morning, I went for a run along the beach. Took the car key in my running shorts pocket — the zipped kind, supposedly secure. Five miles in, I stopped for water, checked the zip. It had worked itself open. Key gone. Somewhere on Filey beach across five miles of sand. Ian came out from Bridlington, met me at the beach house still in my running gear, cut me a new key. We still had three days of the holiday left and my wife didn't divorce me. Result."
